EXPLORE BEFORE MOVING

It is in your best interest to have a "dry run" of the city. Come visit several months or weeks before you actually move. That way you can explore the city at all times of day. You will also be able to see a number of apartments so you can understand how much rent gets what size apartment. This will save a LOT of time before you officially move here. Do your budget before you arrive - i.e. rent, electricity, gas, cable, telephone, classes, headshots, and food. BUDGET

You may be tempted to eat out most of the time once you have moved here - but please try to cook some of your meals - make a plan of how many days a week you will allow yourself to eat out - you will be glad you did.
